Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Conner Floyd will step into the role of Chad DiMera this coming April 21. In the meantime, the actor has been busy in his personal life, saying “I Do” to his longtime lady love, Carly Frei, recently.
Old-School, Old Hollywood
Floyd and Frei’s wedding took place on Saturday, March 21 at West Hollywood’s London Hotel. Over 200 of their closest friends and family were in attendance, and the wedding had an ‘old-school, old Hollywood theme.
The parents of the groom kicked off the wedding weekend with a ‘welcome party’, which took place at the Sunset Tower. Frei and Floyd also began their wedding day when they recited their vows together, which calmed the bride’s nerves down and also helped the two share a sweet memory together before the ceremony began.
Speaking of, their friend, Hayes Beyersdorfer, officiated the wedding, and fun fact: Hayes was present the night Floyd and Frei met.
The couple vacationed in Bora Bora for their honeymoon.
Instagram Worthy
Of course, Conner hopped on Instagram shortly after the two became husband and wife. Tagging Carly, he uploaded a wedding photo of the two, with a simple caption that stated, “The Floyds”. Carly wore a beautiful long skirt, a wedding scarf, and a Danielle Frankel veil, with a Wiederhoeft corset as a top. Meanwhile, Floyd donned a Todd Snyder black tux.
In addition to fans, Floyd’s colleagues from both Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless (where he played Chance Chancellor) both chimed in. Martha Madison (Belle Black) wrote, “Mazel Tov,” while Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) chimed in with, “Cheers to you guys.”
Y&R friends, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) wrote, “Yes!!!” (with a number of hands-up and heart emojis), while Melissa Ordway (Abby Winters) commented with, “Congratulations.” Zuleyka Silver (Audra Charles) also left a comment, stating, “Beautiful couple!!! Congrats,” as Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) wrote, “Omg yay! STUNNING!!! Congrats!”
