The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) pivots in the wake of losing Chancellor. This is what happens when you play ball with thieves who have no honor.
Actually, Billy’s dilemma could have turned out much differently if he had acted immediately after finding Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
This week Billy, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) rescued Jack but failed to tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) before she signed over Chancellor to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Billy Blew it Again
If Billy told Phyllis about the coup, he would still be in charge of Chancellor. Instead, his dream has melted and he must find a new direction. Uh oh.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) on the other hand, has two jobs now: running her own company with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and mommying Billy, a non-paid volunteer position.
To this end, Sally tells Billy to go see his mom already, and make up with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Sally Has Two Jobs
Jill’s heart issues are acting up and it is a good time for him to ditch his pride and meet her in London. He agreed to think about it and spoilers hint he will go.
Travel is good for clearing out the cognitive cobwebs and it would do Billy good to get away and give Sally some space to grow Spectra-Charles Media before Victor snatches it away because we all know that’s inevitable.
Billy Needs a New Direction
In London Billy could mend fences with Jill or check out Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) club. Who knows, if he likes what he sees, he might decide to invest in Noah and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) new club in Genoa City.
Or, maybe he would be inspired to start his own venue, something unique, with a twist on the conventional club scene. There is yoga with cats, how about clubbing with cats? You get the idea.
Wouldn’t it be great if Billy went to London, had some epiphanies, and came home all grown up?
That would make Sally’s life so much easier!
