The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is up to her old tricks. Drugging Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) so she enjoys her version of romantic reconnection betrays the claimed personal reclamation.
Jack determined who kidnapped him and placed him on a vessel that’s floating in Lake Michigan. Patty’s return, years after he believed she was remanded to a supposedly secure mental health facility, was shocking.
It also appeared that Patty’s demeanor was stable. But regardless of her mental state, she’s again put on a great act. She’s obsessed with her ex-husband and has gone so far as to agree to be his conduit captor on a version of Jaboat in this revisited storyline.
Patty Williams Can’t Escape Destiny
Some people are born to play the hero. Others either choose to be the villain or are inclined toward that role, and then aren’t strong enough to swim away from the pull of the swirling drain.
Patty once purposefully fed peanuts to Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) when that character was a child. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was horrified by the realized outcome, and Jack had another item he could add to the list of amoral and illegal betrayals made against him and his loved ones.
There has been no sighting of Ian Ward (Ray Wise) this time, though viewers know that he’s not dead. Patty’s last contact in Genoa City, Wisconsin, hasn’t been linked to her, but additionally, great soap would result if that happens.
Victor Newman Exerts Ultimate Leverage
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is working with the soon-to-return Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to apply pressure to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). But he’s not working with the actual kidnapping victim, Jack.
Although, as Victor sees it, Jack’s simply been given a forced vacation on a luxury liner. Plus, he’s been allowed to catch up with a woman with whom he has unresolved dealings.
Jack’s loved ones, including his wife, son, and brother, don’t see it that way at all. They are pursuing a lead that may result in Jack’s rescue.
A tip and some money paid to a person in the know is leading toward Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) interfering with Victor’s pressure plan to force Phyllis to turn Newman Enterprises back over to him.
Jack Abbott Won’t Suppress Anger
The last time Victor kidnapped Jack led to an unusual outcome. Jack returned to GC and opted not to defend his then wife’s (Phyllis) honor, even though the Moustache wronged her most intimately by inflicting a doppelganger husband into her life.
Jack also chose to cease his decade-long battle with Victor and became sanguine. He accepted Victor as he was and even developed a form of truce with him that held for a few years.
However, there’s no chance Jack will seek forgiveness and tranquility. Viewers can expect him to escape, be rescued, or be released. Then, his return to GC will include a confrontation with Victor that should include the promise of retribution for the ages.
