Y&R Spoilers: Victor Leaves Jack Stranded At Sea, How Victor Will Get Away With It Again

The Young and The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has kidnapped Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), this time locking him on a yacht in the middle of a body of water with nowhere to go, and the only question anyone in Genoa City seems to be asking is whether Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will hand Chancellor back to make it stop.

Not whether Victor will face any actual consequences. Because at this point, why would he? Here we go yet again in another insane storyline where Victor does terrible things, yet somehow always emerges as “the good guy” and never faces any consequences.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Latest Crime Is Unhinged, Even For Him

Let’s lay this out plainly. Victor has already kidnapped Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and her children during this same revenge spiral.

That didn’t work. So instead of facing any legal or moral reckoning for that, he simply moved on to his next victim, Jack Abbott, and had him shipped out to sea in a locked room on a yacht. Jack woke up disoriented, tried the door, found it locked, and looked out to see nothing but open water.

Victor’s message to Billy was simple: hand Chancellor back by the end of the day, or you’ll never see your brother again. “Your brother’s life is at stake,” Victor told him, “and I’m not bluffing.” This is classic Victor, however, we all know that nothing could ever happen to Jack, right? These two feed off of each other so much. They’re the lifeblood of the show, and their back-and-forths have been going on for decades.

Y&R Spoilers: Could This Finally Be Different?

There is one wrinkle this time around. Victor may not be working alone. Speculation is already swirling that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) could be involved in Jack’s kidnapping, potentially with a plan to destroy his marriage to Diane on top of everything else. If that’s true, this goes from a business dispute to something far more personal and unhinged.

And with Nikki aware of what her husband has done, Kyle ready to explode, and a whole town that has watched Victor pull this same trick one too many times, maybe the pile-on gets too big even for the Moustache to sidestep. But don’t hold your breath. Victor Newman has been getting away with it since 1980.

What do you think? Does Victor face real consequences this time, or does Genoa City let him off the hook again? Share your thoughts and remember to keep watching the soap to see what happens next.
