The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) can’t get through to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
They are at an impasse, as viewers and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) saw when she walked in on their latest physical altercation.
Rather than Brooke slapping Katie across the face, the Logan sisters began tussling with each other. They may soon have started rolling around the runway if Hope hadn’t entered and told them to stop.
Brooke’s insistence that she was going to rescue Hope from the perceived Logan shame was telling.
First, Brooke believed that Logan wasn’t a fashion company but a front for gossip and lies. Second, that Hope would bow to her wishes.
Is Brooke Logan Forrester Wrong On Both Points?
Logan has emerged in the fashion world because of back-to-back scandals. Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) capitalized on Forrester Creations and the Forrester family turmoil. There’s no doubt about it.
However, Katie was spurned by FC. Her ten-year business relationship with that fashion house as its public relations head proved to be a facade. When push came to soapy shove, she wasn’t valued and left.
Yet, on the second point, regarding Hope, Brooke will be proven wrong. Noelle’s character isn’t primed to return to FC any time soon.
Like Katie, she left on her own volition and wants to build something for herself by getting out from under the corporate structure that’s ruled by the Forresters.
Hope Logan Spencer Demonstrated Courage
It took a lot of guts to do what Hope did. She knowingly defied her mother and left the company that financially backed the creation of Hope for the Future.
In what will prove to be her first career effort, rather than the sole one, Hope By Logan represents a second act. Like the company she now works for, Hope is evolving in the marketplace of ideas.
Freshness in the fashion world is always needed because tastes demand tomorrow, not yesterday.
So, will Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) newest Couture presentation be as applauded as was his Logan line?
An answer is about to come, with that result impacting FC. But Logan isn’t reacting to the Forresters.
Instead, this well-heeled business is playing off its rival upstart. That’s upside down and to the full benefit of everyone at Logan, now including Hope.
Katie Logan Spencer Defends Her Family
Brooke mentioned that Katie believes she isn’t a Logan but a Spencer. That came during the heat of their impassioned verbal battle.
Great credit to the writing staff for this multilayered family war, with fashion as the rightful backdrop.
Pitting Logan against Logan and the Forresters against the Spencers honors this show’s history and obviously makes for strong modern-day drama.
As for Brooke, she continues to light Katie’s fuse, which is burning FC. So someone at the Forrester family business will need to force Brooke to refocus because until she does, Katie will gain ongoing motivation, and that could drive Logan even higher and create further damage for FC.
