Lexie Carver’s Death
Before getting to the 2-weekers, let’s discuss what is coming up from August 17 to 21, 2026. First of all, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is taken to the hospital. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will hope that doctors can extend Lexie’s life a bit longer. However, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) delivers devastating news. So that sounds like Lexie dies.
Chanel Dupree DiMera’s Baby
Lexie won’t be the only Salemite in the hospital. Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) is in labor. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is there with Chanel, but it sounds like the delivery takes a dangerous turn. Will JANEL lose another baby, or will they get to celebrate a new life?
Paralysis Shocker
As for Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), she has spinal stenosis. While Kayla said there were treatments, the worst-case outcome is paralysis. That would leave Joy unable to care for the baby totally on her own.
Babysitting Date
While Chanel is delivering her baby, Ari Horton (Vico Escorcia) and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) babysit Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue). That could have Ari seeing Aaron in a new light. The geeky guy from high school just might be really good with babies… and with showing Ari a sweet side of him.
Remember, Trey is Aaron’s bio son, so there should be some heartfelt and bittersweet moments. Aaron might bring up that Trey will one day find out about his dad, but he will never get the chance to meet his bio mom, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).
Leo Stark’s Plea
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he issues a plea to Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte). If Dimitri truly loves Leo, he will let him go.
Next 2 Weeks
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 24 suggest we could see Leo return to Salem. However, I wonder if Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) will be ready to accept his feelings. It seems Gus (Michael OCampo) already knows, but the guy made a huge move to be with Javi. So, will Gus be willing to step aside so Leo and Javi can be together?
There should also be some developments on Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote). The little girl realizes her mother causes her more pain than peace, so that could break Kristen’s heart.
We might also see what happens with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) as his messes get even more complicated!
