Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sydney Malakeh will debut on September 9 as a new cast member.
Who will Sydney play when she does debut? Days has shared a video on Instagram announcing Malakeh’s debut, but hasn’t given any other information on the new cast member joining the show. Let’s take a look at what we know.
Sydney Dimera Has Been Mentioned A Lot Lately
Although Days executives stopped short of giving us a name for Malakeh’s character, Sydney Dimera has been mentioned a lot late.y. Of course, Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) has talked with Sydney a few times about returning home. Could that be who Malakeh will be playing when she joins that cast?
Sydney has been gone for a very long time. Sydney was last seen in Salem in October 2014 before moving to California with her mother Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Of course, since then, Sami moved to Rome and Sydney went with her. Sydney could be returning to spend the summer with her father, EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Kristen Dimera Abandoned Her Plans
Kristen had planned on getting closer to Sydney after she teamed up with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) to get rid of Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman).
It seemed that Kristen had plans to get rid of Sydney since she screwed up with Johnny.
However, Kristen has since changed her mind and left town so that EJ couldn’t banish her to Dimera Island.
Sydney did reveal that she planned on coming home soon and this coincides with Malakeh’s debut on the show
This seems to point to Sydney’s return coming in early September. Will EJ’s daughter show up right in the middle of EJ being confronted by that FBI and the Salem Police Department over his latest crimes?
Will Sydney Dimera’s Return Come Before Her Mother’s?
Fans know that Sami, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will be coming to town as well.
Could Sydney become so upset by EJ’s latest crimes that she calls her mother to town to help her deal with everything that is going on? Will Sydney regret her trip to Salem after learning what her father has been up to?
Whatever the case, this will be Malakeh’s first daytime role even though she has been on shows such as, Shrinking, Grey’s Anatomy, Loot and more.
Fans have been waiting for Sydney’s return and it seems that Malakeh may be her. It will certainly be interesting to see who she is playing and just how she fits in with the rest of that cast.
Malakeh’s debut should bring about some interesting developments regardless of who she is playing.
