The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is preparing for battle with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) again. These two have been at it for decades, and it doesn’t look like it will be slowing down anytime soon.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) just wants her husband focused on their son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), as he’s busy battling against addiction.
Meanwhile, his father is fixated on Jack. This might come to a point where Nikki finally gives him an ultimatum: help his son, or she’s gone.
Victor Always Chooses A Fight
Right now, Victor’s son is fighting for his life. His wife is pleading with him to focus on that rather than Jack. Of course, Victor always thinks he can control every little thing in the universe.
So, why not both? Surely, the great Victor can multitask the life of his son and a petty business scuffle with his longtime rival.
That’s the problem, Victor. You can’t. You can’t tell your wife and us that you’ll give anything you can to help Nick when your priorities are this messed up.
Luck has been on Victor’s side for too long. He always manages to find a way to get what he needs, and he doesn’t seem to care who it hurts.
How Much More Can Nikki Take?
Nikki has put up with so much over the years. Victor’s ego and his refusal to ever let anything go.
She’s always had excuses for him, and he’s always said he’s doing it for his “family.” But right now, even the great Victor is wrong. It’s crazy to say, but it needs to be said. Victor is wrong.
He’s choosing a business rivalry over his son. We don’t think that’s the kind of thing Nikki can just shrug off.
We think it could come down to an ultimatum from Nikki. Help her with Nick, or if he doesn’t, she’s gone.
The threat could be very real, but we believe that at that point, Victor may finally see the light and agree that he needs to focus more on his son. He might finally learn that some fights just aren’t worth the price.
