The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) child.
They’re trying to build toward a happy life, but it feels like Sally is heading for more heartbreak.
Sally has already lived through one devastating pregnancy loss on the show, and fans aren’t shy about turning the channel if they have to watch her go through it a second time.
Sally’s Pregnancy With Adam
Just a few years ago, Sally was expecting a baby with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), a storyline that ended with Courtney Hope winning a Daytime Emmy for her performance.
Unfortunately, that performance was devastating as she lost her baby during the pregnancy. It was a terrible blow, and fans haven’t forgotten how awful that feeling was.
Now, with Sally pregnant again and her mentioning that something wasn’t right to Billy has fans’ heads whipping away from their televisions.
Many are not prepared to go through this kind of storyline again, especially for the same character. While it was just a mention, it was enough to spark a lot of conversation and get viewers agreeing that should Sally lose another pregnancy, they’ll be taking a break from the show.
What Fans Are Saying
In a social media post from the official The Young and the Restless, fans commented on a video of Sally telling Billy that something wasn’t right. “I hope Sally doesn’t lose another baby,” one fan wrote.
It wasn’t long before hordes of viewers chimed in on the comment. “Me too. If they have her lose that baby, I’m out”, “god I hope not!”, “Don’t you dare take this baby away from Sally.” and “Are you serious writers another problem with the baby situation how ridiculous.”
It’s obvious fans don’t want to relive this storyline, and while there’s a good chance it doesn’t even happen, we do have to look at some possible outcomes.
Namely being that Sally could end up with Adam again. Adam and Sally oozed electricity on-screen and were perfect for each other.
Unfortunately, losing the baby drove the wedge between them that was too hard to move past. If something does happen between Sally and Billy because of this, we could definitely see her and Adam finding their way to each other.
