Victor Newman Getting Written Off The Show?
Let’s face it: Victor and Nikki haven’t had the best week, the most month, or even the best year for that matter. Even though they’ve been married for decades, their relationship has remained rather toxic.
And here’s the thing: with Victor being in his mid eighties, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if he’s simply going to be written off the show.
That would put Nikki in a leading character position rather than just another supporting role in which she has always played second fiddle to her on-screen husband, Victor.
Of course, Y&R fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Since I anticipate that Eric Braeden will work till the end, they’ll probably write him out the same way they did Catherine and Neil. As for Nikki, she’ll probably be more of a supporting character once Victor is gone instead of a leading lady.”
Another critic wrote, “When they are together I love the way they talk to each other and show their appreciation to each other and seem so deeply in love after such a long relationship.”
“Which is why these last few months made no sense. Having him speak to her that way ruined it. And also having her say she will divorce him if he doesn’t accept her friendship with her ex husband. A relationship that bothers both spouses (Victor and Diane) immensely.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I can see why people don’t like them together I guess. But at the same time, they’re an old married couple who have been together for God knows how long at this point so it makes sense that they’re still together.”
