Yes, like their entire relationship before, another talk. This is either going to be closure or another explosion of sparks between them. Honestly, with Adam and Chelsea, it’s usually both.
A History Of Chaos
Let’s be honest about Adam and Chelsea. They’re not your average soap couple with a few bumps in the road.
They’ve lied to each other about terrible things. Chelsea once framed Adam for nearly killing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) not that long ago.
And through all of it, the thing that’s kept pulling them back together is Connoor. You know, their kid that is perfect and the sunshine and never does anything wrong.
This isn’t romance, it’s just two people circling the same wreckage of a relationship because it’s all they know.
Why Now?
With Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) crisis consuming the entire Newman family, Adam and Chelsea finally get a quiet moment away from everything else.
The perfect time for two old flames to sit down and have another “talk” about all the “what ifs” in their relationship and the things they were always too busy to say out loud.
Adam has spent this year trying to rebuild something normal. The thing he’s always tried to do since returning after his stint as Spider in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Chelsea has spent it trying to figure out who she is. Neither of these will survive once they are with each other.
Y&R Spoilers: Reunion Or Closure?
Here’s the real question: Does this conversation put Adam and Chelsea to bed for good, or does it crack the door back open for another round? These two have broken up more times than Genoa City has had corporate takeovers.
