Everything We Know About Giada De Laurentiis’ Latest Hallmark Channel Project
Giada De Laurentiis’ run on Dancing With the Stars may have been short-lived, with the Food Network star being eliminated in September.
However, her TV run is far from being over.
On September 17, Hallmark released a list of brand-new movies in its Countdown to Christmas lineup.
Among the many interesting titles is the Giada-executive-produced The Christmas Eve Feast, starring Nickelodeon star Daniella Monet.
Set to air on Friday, November 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark, the film also stars Toni Ellwand and When Calls the Heart star Kevin McGarry.
This is not the first time Giada has decided to dip her toes into a Hallmark Channel project, albeit behind the scenes.
She was also one of the executive producers for Always Amore.
Starring Autumn Reeser and Tyler Hynes, Always Amore premiered in April 2022.
I love that while we won’t get to see Giada in front of the cameras, longtime fans can understand why she chose to back this project.
The Christmas Eve Feast Brings Italian Traditions And Romance
Okay, okay, let me quickly explain the premise of the new project!
The Christmas Eve Feast will follow disillusioned executive chef Silvana “Silvy” Gianetti (Daniella Monet).
Silvy leaves her job at a fancy restaurant to move home to Boston when her Nonna suffers an injury.
Upon her arrival, she steps in to help prepare her family’s Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes Christmas Eve dinner.
Going back to her roots helps Silvy rediscover her love of cooking.
It also makes her question whether she was meant to walk through life alone.
A handsome photographer named Ethan (Kevin McGarry) might just be the answer to two of her biggest dilemmas.
Two Hallmark Christmas Movies In One Night
The Christmas Eve Feast is slated as part of a double feature, with Return to Santa set to premiere on the same night.
If all else fails, at least we have November 27 to look forward to, especially for all the foodies out there who love Christmas traditions!
Annemarie’s Take
I think this sounds like the perfect Hallmark Christmas movie!
Italian cooking, family traditions, a handsome photographer and a little holiday romance? What’s not to love?
Giada seems like a natural fit for this project, especially with the Feast of the Seven Fishes playing such an important role in the story.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it all comes together!
