Brooke speaks condescendingly to Katie whenever they are in the same scene together.
While she talks of reconciliation, that’s conditioned on Katie admitting she wronged her.

Annemarie’s Take
I think Brooke has a lot of nerve going to Bill after everything that happened between them in the past.
Katie has every reason to be suspicious. Brooke may claim she’s only trying to protect Forrester Creations, but why involve the one man who has already broken Katie’s heart?
And Bill needs to be very careful. Calling his wife “My Katie” is sweet, but those words won’t mean much if he starts putting Brooke’s wishes ahead of Katie’s happiness.
I also think Katie deserves more credit for what she’s accomplished. Brooke and Ridge underestimated her, and now they don’t like the competition.
However, Brooke’s private meeting with Bill could create exactly the kind of marital crisis Katie fears.
