The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) generally eagerly awaits her husband’s return.
But this time and as long as she continues to outright lie to him about reality, Steffy will dread anytime John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) walks through the door of the cliff house.
However, the audience knows that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) used his unknowing wife, Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire), to guilt trip Steffy into going along with this most incredible deception.
Steffy has bought into Carter’s faked egg donor and surrogacy deception.
Daphne Walton Gets What She Wanted?
Daphne convinced Carter that she couldn’t get past her premature menopause diagnosis. So, he was devastated and, within hours, engaged in a tawdry executive boardroom encounter with her best friend, who is also his longtime friend and one of his bosses.
Hey, it happens. Forgive. Forget.
Steffy was rightfully upset by Finn’s inability to stop Shiela Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Yes, that makes total sense.
Carter is just speaking his moral relativist truth into existence by creating a positive solution. Sure, that’s what he’s doing.
Hilaire’s character will raise the child she wanted. The one she is so eagerly expecting. The one she said she wanted Carter to have.
So, Daphne will just have to get over it.
Right?
No. Daphne will not get over what her husband and best friend did, with Carter and Steffy’s coverup being worse than the impulse moral crime they jointly committed.
John Finn Finnegan Supports His Disloyal Wife?
Finn loves his wife. Who wouldn’t when she’s the Steffy Forrester?
Highly intelligent. A great force in the fashion world. Someone who created her own niche beyond what her famous family name provided.
Steffy’s beauty was instantly recognizable the first time Finn laid eyes on her face when he was assigned to her case at University Hospital.
Doctor Finnegan treated the patient who was admitted after recklessly riding her motorcycle and caused what was her second bad accident. They felt the mutual pull that viewers can relate to from their experiences on the other side of the screen with those they’ve fallen in love with.
Total Devastation Ends This Sweet Marriage?
Steffy believes it’s inevitable. That’s why she’s so forlorn.
Living in this soapy world allows Wood’s character to know that Finn will learn the truth no matter what she or Carter does. It can’t be kept from him in this daytime existence.
So, the fraud will be perpetuated for an unpredictable amount of time. Ideally, the truth, meaning that Steffy is having Carter’s baby and isn’t a selfless surrogate will be revealed in a surprising and unexpected moment.
Finn’s doubt will begin when he’s stunned by the supposed surrogacy process having started, against his advice, while he was away.
Steffy can end this lie at any time. She could reach the breaking point in any episode, which would likely cause Finn to move out of the picturesque cliff house. But she can’t bring herself to do so just yet because the action of this truly great storyline has just begun to rise.
