The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is determined to take the city.
She has convinced herself that Arabesque is exponentially greater than what The Grand Phoenix represented in her life.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) bided his time and stewed in his emotional juice during the period when Phyllis inexplicably and incredibly stole Newman Enterprises from him.
That remarkable turn of events led to her needing to relinquish control of the company Victor founded, but she gained a bit of his respect.
Phyllis was surprised when Victor went one step further and gave her a surprise. While it was hollowed out, he gifted Arabesque to her and recommended that she make something of it.
Victor Newman Knew What He Was Doing
Victor didn’t earn his billions by being stupid, misguided, or foolish. Oh, he’s made some mistakes along the way, but the Moustache has deep insight into people.
The king of Genoa City, Wisconsin, became that after accepting Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) job offer.
She recruited him to help her run Chancellor Industries in the years after her beloved husband’s death.
Braeden’s character wanted to build his own company and did so, while maintaining a friendship with the queen of GC, Katherine.
Victor built his family with today’s queen of this Midwestern city, his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Newman Enterprises thrived.

Cane Ashby Has Refined His Game
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) was overconfident, like Phyllis, for many years. But he learned the hard way and has refined his game.
Regaining Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) love was Cane’s obsession during the years he spent away from home.
His grandiose plans, which included building Arabesque with his now-late father, weren’t fully realized and flamed out badly.
However, many months after abandoning the Aristotle Dumas demeanor, Cane reconciled with Lily and their twins. So, he’s achieved what was most desired.
In contrast, Phyllis is seeking revenge and has no one to love because Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has seemingly left with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Viewers are anticipating their return at Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) October wedding.
Phyllis Summers Reveals Her Plan
Phyllis telling Cane what she intends to use Arabesque for seemed off. Why tell him, of all people, what’s coming?
If she only intends to go after Newman Enterprises, then Chancellor is safe. Lily gained that company after Victor followed through on his promise, with her hiring of Cane to run it reminiscent of what Katherine did all those years ago.
Cane saying that Phyllis was the predator everyone needs to be wary of was compelling. He appears to be keeping a line of communication open with her as a means of protecting Chancellor and his loved ones’ best interests.
