Barbie Imperial couldn’t help but to be so worried for her family in Albay.
As we heard in the news, Albay is one of the area which was hardly hit by the typhoon.
On November 1, Typhoon Rolly had surged into the Bicol region leaving most areas in a total devastation.
After hours of the strong rain and wind, most of the infrastructure were down. As a matter of fact, photos of the aftermath were uploaded.
In the said photos, you will see the land part of Mayon Volcano flooded. Sadly, some lifeless bodies were also washed off in different places.
Seeing their situation in the photos got us so worried, knowing that our Filipinos are in need of help.
So what it could be more if we have relatives and families there?
This is the problem of young actress Barbie right now. She is originally from Albay, Bicol.
If you can still recall, Barbie was tagged as “Doll along the riles ng Albay” when she joined Pinoy Big Brother.
During her promotion of her new upcoming iWant TFC digital series, Barbie opened up dealing with the challenges she is facing right now.
“I think the most challenging was mahiwalay ka sa pamilya mo. Ang hirap talaga mahiwalay sa pamilya ngayon,” she said talking about the pandemic and the typhoon.
“And lalo ngayon, bumabagyo ngayon. Until now ay bumagyo so until now yung biggest challenge para sa akin, kasi I have family left in Albay and Catanduanes. It’s been three days. Wala pa rin kami balita sa kanila. Yung buong Virac. Catanduanes sobrang washed out talaga and maraming namatay so yun yung challenge for me, being away from family,” the former PBB housemate added.
As of now, donations and helps are pouring in for the families that have been affected.
