Vice Ganda and Ryan Bang had an emotional heart-heart talk during the episode of noontime show It’s Showtime.
As their fans have seen of their relationship, Ryan and Vice have a mother and son bonding in real life. The comedian considers the Korean babe as his “son” while Ryan sees her as a second “mother.”
During the segment of Tawag Ng Tanghalan, one of the contenders Donna Gift Ricafrente recalls the grief she had been through when she lost her father eight years ago.
Ricafrente’s tearful story prompted the comedian to brought up his recent conversation with Ryan few days ago.
“Umiiyak siya, sabi niya sa akin, ‘Pag wala ka sa tabi ko, hindi ko kaya.’ Pinapagalitan ko siya,” the Unkabogable star began.
Vice then recalled what he had to advise Ryan at that time saying, “No, ayoko ng lampa. Kung lampa ka, hindi kita anak. You have to be your own strength. I can’t be your strength all the time. Huwag kang umasa na nandito ako forever. Darating ang oras na iiwanan kita, Ryan. At dapat kaya mo ‘yon. At dapat, ngayon pa lang, handa ka doon.”
He then asked Ryan to join them on stage while reiterating the advised he gave.
“Bakit tayo maghihiwalay? Bakit hindi tayo magkikita, e sasama nga ako sa ‘yo kahit saan ka pumunta?” the Korean host answered.
Upon hearing this, the Praybeyt Benjamin star had to advice him seriously,
“Ryan, I want you to be strong, and when you are strong, I am happy.
“Hindi tayo maghihiwalay kasi karugtong ka ng puso ko. But physically, we will have to be away from each other in time.”
Vice Ganda told Ryan that he won’t be around forever to help him during his hard times so Vice wants Ryan to be strong and independent.
Truly, this two became family at heart.
