Ogie Diaz talks about the issue of Nadine Lustre against Viva Artists Agency on his Youtube channel.
It all started on January this year, when Nadine released a statement through her legal counsel stating that she is no longer part of VAA.
Since then, the actress has been accepting projects and managing her own. Later on, the Viva Artists Agency said that Nadine has breached her contract with them.
According to the official statement of VAA, the actress still has 9 years left with them as she renewed her exclusive contract again.
Recently, the management officially filed a lawsuit against Nadine Lustre.
On the other hand, the legal counsel of the Ulan star defended by stating the Civil Rights of Nadine on which she has her rights to leave the agency if she wants to.
Regarding this issue, talent manager Ogie Diaz with Mama Loi talked about this on the Youtube channel Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.
“Ano pa silbi nung kontrata kung paiiralin natin ‘yun? Bakit ka pumirma?” Ogie asked saying that he has ni thing against Nadine.
He then further explained that this could go through a smooth transaction in which Nadine should have asked Viva in a proper way that she wants to be released. Ogie also said that if ever they had an agreement like this, the actress will request for a release order as a proof that she has no longer connection with VAA.
However, this said ‘release order’ seems to not exist so therefore, the contract still exists and on going.
Ogie further explained that some artists who eventually rose to fame has this attitude where they will question their contract after they had a big break.
Although he didn’t specifically named Nadine as one but he said that this happen. At the end, Ogie advised Nadine to have a proper settlement with VAA.
