The 33-year-old “Rumors” performer is facing backlash after a clip of her meeting Chris went viral on Saturday (October 2).

The clip shows Lizzo approaching Chris and asking to take a photo with him, telling the musician that he’s her “favorite person in the whole f–king world.” You can watch the video here.
The interaction reportedly took place backstage at one of the Los Angeles shows of the Millennium Tour over the weekend.
Once the video began spreading on social media, some fans took to social media to express their disappointment over Lizzo‘s actions due to Chris Brown‘s controversial past.
One fan wrote, “Lizzo calling Chris brown [sic] her favorite person in the whole f–king world. I’M PISSED OFF MAN.”
“lizzo [sic], my baby, look at me. LOOK AT ME. this isn’t you. i know the real you. listen, it’s just me and you, okay? this isn’t you. i know you better than that. please,” another tweeted.
Lizzo has yet to address the backlash.
The performer also recently sparked a Twitter debate after sharing some of her hot takes on social media.
