New audio has surfaced of Dave Chappelle‘s immediate reaction to being assaulted onstage at the Hollywood Bowl during a standup set.
The 48-year-old comedian reflected on the incident during an after-party alongside Busta Rhymes on Tuesday night (May 3) at the Pendry Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

I felt good my friends broke his arm. I felt good, how bad does a n– have to be that Jon Stewart would stomp him!” he’s heard saying to the crowd on the audio, obtained by TMZ.
“Killing that n– would have been stupid,” he added.
Dave thanked his friends during the after-party, saying “those are very powerful friends and I’m sharing [this night] with people I love very much.”
