Days Of Our Lives alum Lisa Rinna talks about some of her iconic soap roles. Nothing seems to faze Lisa when it comes to her work as a soap star. However, even she was shocked the she would end up kissing two men in one day.
Lisa Describes The Drama
While on the Who’s the A**hole? With Katya podcast, Rinna discussed her previous soap roles that she has been cast in over the years. Lisa was ask what “the most juicy and exciting” soap role she had ever had was. Rinna immediately jumped to Melrose Place, a 90s primetime drama where Rinna had played Taylor McBridge.
The soap centered around the good looking residence of and apartment complex. “That was most fun by far,” Rinna said. “She was nuts. And I could do anything.” “This was so funny. One day, I had to kiss two actors, one right after the other. So, I had to make out with Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro), and then I had to make out with the guy that played Peter (Jack Wagner).”
A Bit Too Much For The RHOBH Alum
As outlandish as Rinna seems these days, back then, this seemed strange and that the idea caused her to “freak out.” Up until that point, Lisa had never done anything like that before and as good as it sounds, she has never done it again either. Of course this seems a bit tame for an alum of one of the real housewives series.
Rinna had some interesting times on Days as Billie Reed, however, none of them require anything like this. Perhaps this time on MP made some of her other roles seem a bit more tame. Rinna seems to have let loose since those days which truly makes this almost funny for fans who have seem much worse.
Getting Intimate About Hygiene
Rinna was later asked about an actors routine hygiene and if it matters during love scenes. Rinna says she never had that issue. “Luckily, their hygiene was good. So I lucked out there,” she said.
Lisa has previously showed her interest in the new reboot of Melrose Place. That idea turned out to be a fleeting moment.
Would Rinna consider going back to Days of Our Lives? Rinna says she would be willing to come back as Billie Reed. Lisa got to do this during Beyond Salem and thoroughly enjoyed that.
Currently Lisa has moved onto the next thing in her life. Lisa and her husband Harry Hamlin have launched a new podcast called Let’s Not Talk About the Husband.
