The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is taken with Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). But he wasn’t sure that she was making a play for him. When Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wasn’t in the executive suite, she removed some of the mystery.
Daphne put her hand on Carter in a way that didn’t leave any doubt. Her alluring looks could have been related to the fragrance deal, but that physical contact changed his consideration.
Carter isn’t aware of the connection between Daphne and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy’s current plan is likely dead if that cloak drops.
Daphne Rose Is Romantically Interested
Viewers may wonder what elixir potion Daphne might have mixed into her various fragrances. It would seem difficult to imagine that it’s some form of drug, but maybe that’s part of this plot.
Daphne didn’t feel that splitting Hope from Carter would be a problem. However, she’s since seen that they are a couple.
Carter’s head has been turned to Daphne because, like Hope, he’s completely impressed by her products. He knows that partnering with her is great for Forrester Creations. But his heart hasn’t been penetrated yet.
Carter Walton Feels Guilty About Business
Daphne is attempting to lull Carter into a crush coma. She thinks her aura transfixes him because so many other men have responded to her in that way.
Carter’s love life exploits haven’t resulted in one realized marriage or a family with children. But he has experience with romance and hasn’t had a hard time attracting appealing ladies on-screen and those mentioned in passing.
Having had time to process the messy FC takeover, Carter feels remorseful. That makes him open to suggestions in general. So, with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) already working on him, Daphne’s moral assertions could make an impact sooner rather than later.
Hope Logan Standing On A House Of Cards
Longtime fans know that Steffy and Hope’s rivalry isn’t based on the hostile takeover of FC that Carter conceived. Hope cheered his idea to its successful conclusion, but it was hardly when Steffy became suspicious of her opportunist motives.
Steffy experienced plenty of heartbreak during the period when she and Hope competed for Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) interest. They each have a child with him but aren’t in love with Clifton’s character.
Hope has no idea that Liam decided in the recent past to pursue her again, though that plot point hasn’t been addressed in recent weeks.
Hope’s recent conversation with Steffy was revealing. Noelle’s character told her that she wouldn’t reverse what happened at FC.
But Hope isn’t only presumptive when it comes to business. She believes Carter and she are destined, and no one will topple her or them.
That attitude gives Steffy and Daphne an advantage. They aren’t underestimating Hope. Instead, FC’s one-time co-CEO and her secret accomplice have likely assessed the opposition exactly and are preparing to topple Hope’s house of cards.
