General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) will face some daddy devastation. Scout may fear losing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) like she lost Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) thanks to Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) latest plot.
Although Drew hasn’t been a very good father to Scout, she obviously still loves him. Scout doesn’t understand why Drew’s been so reluctant to let her see her own family, but that doesn’t negate the affection she has for him.
Scout still struggles with missing Sam and has definitely had hard time coping since she died. The devastation of losing her mom was bad enough, but now Scout may find herself worried she could lose her dad, too.
Of course, Drew was presumed dead years ago, so this wouldn’t even be the first time Scout lost him. Scout has been through more than any child should have to go through, but that’s just the life of a soap kid!
Now that Willow has injected Drew with a mysterious syringe, it should lead to some hospital drama. Drew may survive thanks to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but he could be in a coma for the foreseeable future.
Lucas will eventually pass along some difficult news, which may be about Drew’s comatose state. Will Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) be tasked with giving Scout updates on her dad’s situation?
Scout’s sure to have plenty of questions and growing fears about what the future holds. GH spoilers suggest Alexis may have to step up and try to calm Scout as her world starts to crumble.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) missed out on years with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) while she was stuck in her own coma, so Scout may worry Drew could miss out on years, too.
However, Alexis might point out that Lulu eventually woke up – thanks in part to Sam donating part of her liver. Even if Alexis finds herself wishing that Drew never regains consciousness, she could reassure Scout anyway.
Willow’s curveball could lead to more trauma for Scout, but at least she can lean on Alexis, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and maybe even Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) with Drew out of the picture for the time being.
