General Hospital spoilers claim there are several young couples taking shape in Port Charles, but not all of them have what it takes to go the distance.
Let’s be honest, few ever have. But lately, we’ve seen a handful of couples emerge from the young teens and twentysomethings crowds that have piqued new interest in the hit sudser.
Personally, while I’m more in the Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Hernst) age bracket and longing for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to come home again already, I see potential in the up-and-coming younger demographics on the show.
They give me hope that it will continue well beyond the days of retirement for more veteran actors like Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Genie Francis (Laura Collins). But are all of these couples suited for the long haul? Not a chance!
Gio and Emma Give Liz and Lucky Vibes
She’s a caretaker; he’s sentimental. Emma Scorpio Drake (Bradyn Bruner) has a bit of a rap sheet, but so did Elizabeth when she came to town, and look at her now.
All it took was one guy (Lucky) seeing her for who she really was, flaws and all, and deciding he was cool with it, for her to work her way into a better reputation.
Likewise, Elizabeth supported Lucky even when he let her down or couldn’t convey what it was he needed at the time, and we’ve seen Emma do similar for Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) — especially during that scene at the Nurses’ Ball when he found out about his adoption. I see these two being in it for the long haul, however long that is when you’re a college kid.

GH Spoilers Say Trina and Kai Won’t Say Goodbye
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has leaned on Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) in some pretty incredible ways more recently. Last year, they called it quits, and Trina thought that was it.
But as it turns out, Kai was the one who was there when she needed somebody the most. Now, they’re bound not only by shared grief, but a shared crime.
A secret that keeps them immersed in intrigue, a little bit of danger, and angst because they both know Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is guilty and can’t do anything but talk to each other about it.
I look for them to get even closer as that situation surrounding Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) stroke starts to spur questions. They’re in the foxhole together and not coming out anytime soon.
These Two Couples Won’t Make It to 2027
If there’s any chance that[) will see each other again, it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be anytime soon.
Moreover, she’s kind of outgrown the guy at this point. Joss is just fine to stumble in the dark and find her way out on her own it would seem.
I’m not sensing a great outcome for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) either, which might complicate matters for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) if he ends up feeling like the monkey in the middle.
Get ready for a Romeo and Juliet saga like no other, complete with Charlotte’s dramatics and Danny’s genetic desire to be a hero. Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
