The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) might pull the plug on Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) funding. Will Jill warn Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to give up Chancellor or else Sally’s going to pay the price?
When it comes to Chancellor, Jill has been clear about not wanting Billy in charge. Now that Billy’s going against Jill’s wishes and ready to accept Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) deal, he could be playing with fire.
Sally already voiced concerns about Jill’s reaction to all this. Y&R fans can’t forget that Jill’s the one funding Abbott Communications, so she could decide to pull her investment like Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) did previously.
Abbott Communications had their launch not too long ago, but they’re still very new to the media scene. Sally is counting on Jill’s money to help Abbott Communications live up to its full potential.
However, Jill’s going to be furious when she gets updates on Cane’s Newman takeover plot and how he’s roped Billy into it with this Chancellor offer. Cane may not listen to Jill’s attempt to talk him out of all this, but she may force Billy to pay attention.
Jill might deliver an ultimatum and make Billy choose what he loves most in the end. Perhaps Jill will warn that she’s going to pull the plug on funding Abbott Communications if Billy doesn’t drop his deal with Cane.
In other words, Billy may have to choose between Chancellor and Sally! Since Sally gave up her fashion career to go all in with Billy on this media company, she’ll be livid if it all falls apart.
It feels like Sally is already close to breaking up with Billy, but you can bet she’d go through with it if Billy chose Chancellor and let her own Abbott Communications dreams evaporate.
If Jill puts Sally’s job on the line, then Billy will have to decide whether he’s going to leave her high and dry. Billy craves Chancellor control more than just about anything, but will he give it up if Jill backs him into a corner?
