The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge’s Impossible Promise as Eric Ditches the Logan Legal Deal

The Bold and The Beautiful: RIdge Forrester(Thorsten Kaye)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) made up with his father. It took several attempts, but the emotional conversation they had in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) bedroom resulted in a deal.

Eric is returning to Forrester Creations in a decision he termed as going home. Ridge agreed to let Eric have his way, which is a subjective take fraught with various soapy red flags.

There’s no doubt that this father and his adopted son love each other. Ridge’s tears were real, as he shared that his greatest fear is finding Eric dead on his desk at Forrester Creations. McCook’s ultimate legacy character was countered by telling the current co-Chief Executive Officer that he can’t control that aspect of life.

Ridge Forrester’s Concern Remains Legitimate

If Eric had never been ill or had any other type of serious health matter, then Ridge’s concerns could have been questioned. But the head of the Forrester family is in his 80s and has had more than one serious health issue.

So, Ridge’s desire to have Eric curtail his working hours or work some type of limited schedule was and remains totally legitimate. Ridge’s suspicions were reconfirmed in the last week when Eric became stressed after recognizing that the bulk of the work he assumed at Logan was too large.

Viewers also saw that Eric began to hyperventilate, to a minor degree, and become a bit disoriented. That was also stress-related, with the summoned Emergency Medical Technicians confirming as much.

Eric Forrester Rightly Asserts Dignity Demand

The comments that were written for Eric to deliver about age were very topical. It’s inarguable that some people in Ridge’s age category view their elders with a negative view.

In terms of ageism, this version of Los Angeles, California, includes a generational age group below Ridge’s and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) that appears to believe no respect is due middle-aged people who got it all wrong, and they know right.

But there was an intriguing addition to the ageism topic that was inserted into the plot through the battle Brooke is having with her younger sister, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom).

Brooke Logan Forrester Demeans Her Sister

Brooke has no logical basis to talk to one of her younger sisters like she does. Yet, Katie continues to receive all of Brooke’s intentionally condescending comments.

It appears that no matter what Katie does, how she does it, or however old she may eventually be. Brooke is set on seeing Tom’s character as though she were a girl.

Lang’s is another ultimate legacy B&B character, along with McCook’s and Kaye’s. She doesn’t realize that if she applied a time trap to Katie than her younger sister can dredge up Brooke’s storied past, to put it very mildly.

Brooke fears that Katie might succeed. She’s afraid that someone notably younger than her might steal her soapy thunder and is already claiming that Katie was handed the means to make that happen as a way of preemptively undermining her coming success, which will be harder now that Eric has decided to return to FC.

But there is a question that can be asked, among others. Didn’t Eric sign a contract with Logan?
