Days of Our Lives and General Hospital alum Brandon Barash recently shared some exciting family news. Of course, fans know that Barash moved to Tennessee some time ago.
Brandon hasn’t been on soaps in quiet a few months and Barash has revealed that he and his wife are expecting a new baby soon.
Brandon Barash Is Known For Both Shows
Brandon is knows for playing somewhat similar characters on both shows. Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash) was the son of Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) and the grandson of Anthony Zacchara (Bruce Weitz). Johnny ran the Zacchara crime family for a while. However, Johnny was never the evil mob boss type. Johnny was loved by a lot of people, except Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) was the son of Stefano Dimera (Joe Mascolo) and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). Brandon also portrayed his twin brother Jake Dimera as well.
Jake was shot and killed outside a jewerly shop after buying an engagement ring. Stefan supposedly died from heart failure after receiving Jake’s heart in a transplant surgery done by Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Brandon Barash And Kirsten Storms
Brandon was once married to Kirsten Storms who plays Maxie Jones on GH. Brandon and Kirsten share a daughter, Harper Barash, who once played Maxie’s onscreen daughter.
Brandon is now married to Isabella Devoto. Brandon recently posted on Instagram in a joint post with his wife sharing that they were expecting their second child.
Brandon and his daughter have a son named Joaquin who was born in 2023. Barash also revealed photos from the baby’s gender reveal party complete with blue balloon’s floating up out of a box.
Brandon posted along with this, “I heard the news today, OH BOY!!!” Brandon continued, “Well — we heard the news months ago, you heard it today. Family pictures are about to look a lil different…and A LOT more love to go around. Baby Barash #3(!?) coming in June! Tennessee, keep bringin’ the blessing.”
Brandon Barash Teased The Reveal With A Justin Bieber Song
Brandon revealed the news with the Justin Bieber song, “Baby.” Other soap alumni jumped on the post and congratulated Barash. Eric Martsolf wrote, “Congrats to the fam!!!” Cherie Jimenez also shared, “Awww. Congratulations to you & your beautiful family! So, so happy for y’all.”
