The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants his company back and is employing all means necessary to get it. That includes kidnapping Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as a ploy to force Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to deal with him, and it worked.
Victor had a chessboard in the main living room of the second Ranch house. He lives in a third version of his estate now that replicates the original viewers first saw in the early 1980s. But he doesn’t need a physical board to match wits with his latest worthy opponent.
Phyllis has accomplished what no one else ever has on this scale. She first provided Victor with a weapon that imploded on him. Then, she stole his company out from under him.
Newman Enterprises Executive Suite Missing The Painted Moustache?
Viewers are suspending disbelief in many ways while trying to digest this storyline. One skewed angle they see is Phyllis sitting in the Newman Enterprises Executive Suite with a view of the side wall from her right shoulder.
The space where Victor’s classic portrait has mostly hung for decades represents the only standout image in this most famous setting. To think that Phyllis would take over the company of the man she’s held a deep grudge against since Victor paired her with Jack’s doppelganger, Marco Annicelli (Bergman in a dual role), is hard to believe.
Victor’s return to that office feels like it’s on the horizon, or why else would the writing staff allow all of the tycoon’s possessions to remain?
Billy Abbott Fails To Pressure Phyllis Summers
Billy pushed his way into what is currently Phyllis’ office. He demanded that she immediately sign over Chancellor.
Phyllis dealt with simultaneous surprises. Billy being there, him being accompanied by Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and that trio disrupting the passionate conversation she was having with her son.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) got through to Phyllis in recent days, convincing her to help him meet Victor’s demands or at least make him believe that was happening. Cane played off their shared family pain, and Phyllis agreed to help, which plays into her taking the lead following Billy’s relay of Victor’s ultimatum.
Jack Abbott Shocked By The Past
There he was once again, kidnapped. The hilarious title Billy once dubbed the boat he boat when temporarily heading Jabot, years ago, was Jaboat.
So, transferring humor to what is a serious scenario, Jack finds himself on Jaboat and in Victor’s clutches. He was also shocked to see his former wife and one of this shows most deranged characters, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), enter his cabin.
Patty is working for Victor in a turnabout that the deposed king still could make happen. Her reappearance, after being unseen for years, elevates a plot that continues to be wild.
