General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) will have to deal with the consequences of his actions. It’s just a matter of how terrible those consequences will be and whether Marco will live to tell the tale.
Marco knew the risk he was taking when he made repeated attempts to swipe Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication. Now Marco has finally succeeded in scoring two doses, but the theft has already been traced back to him.
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) caught Marco lying about having a schedule miscommunication with Pascal (Marc Forget), who just let Cullum know that two medicine vials were missing.
Now Cullum realizes Marco is to blame considering his previous lie and time inside the safe. Pascal has a crush on Marco and would rather see Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) pay for this, but Cullum may be far more interested in going after the true traitor.
Marco is the one who was supposed to be a loyal key player in their operation. Now that Marco has proven he can’t be trusted, Cullum isn’t going to want him around.
This could lead to Cullum growing determined to terminate Marco – both from the project and from the planet! Marco could be marked for a grim fate if Cullum has anything to say about it.
Despite Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) best efforts to eliminate Cullum, it looks like Cullum will stick around to wreak more havoc. That means Marco could find himself in an extremely dangerous situation with no way out.
Marco doesn’t think Sidwell would hurt him, but he may not be able to save him either. Sidwell may cut his son of his life like Marco feared – and once that happens, Marco may not get the same level of protection he’s counting on.
If Sidwell washes his hands of Marco, then he may not stand in the way of whatever Cullum plans to do next. Even if Sidwell tries to protect Marco from a grisly outcome, it may not be enough considering what Cullum is capable of.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) may regret letting Marco take this gamble if it ends in tragedy. Marco is trying to stay optimistic about what’s coming up, but he may be headed for more trouble than he bargained for.
