The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) was wrong twice and still doesn’t know it. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) didn’t save her marriage and wasn’t in danger at the cliff house.
Credit to B&B’s writing staff for injecting a moment of hilarity into what seemed to be a mega reveal. But rather than having Sheila catch her husband with Taylor, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) scurried out the second-story window and made his way outside in the all together.
In a further sign of Sheila’s seeming human growth, she was prepared to attack what she assumed was an assailant in Taylor’s bedroom. But Budig’s character wanted Deacon to be there.
Taylor Hayes’ Flawed Coping Mechanism
Taylor and Deacon have been acting like two young, inexperienced people who share a mutual crush. Their connection hasn’t matured and is arguably a double rebound.
There is no question that Taylor is still reeling after having Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) dump her last year. He did that after jumping in the water to save the true love of his life, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), from drowning. Soon thereafter, she became Brooke Logan Forrester for a staggering ninth time.
Taylor didn’t respond in outrage, and she didn’t endure a relapse of broken heart syndrome. Instead, she embraced the very next man who took a keen interest in her.
Deacon Sharpe Rejected His Wife
Deacon did something different than Taylor but arrived at the same place. As devoted fans know, this cast is short because it’s the lone remaining half-hour steamer.
With a limited number of people, various romantic pairings have been orchestrated through the years. So, Taylor and Deacon were never in love before, but suddenly felt that spark and then proclaimed the L word rather quickly.
Sheila was someone Deacon bonded with and loved. But he pushed Sheila out of his heart after she didn’t tell him Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was still alive. That was a plot stretch.
Rejecting Sheila led Deacon to seek Taylor’s professional analysis, and the setup was complete.
Sheila Carter Sharpe Will Know The Truth
Delaying a reveal is a cool development because it builds further suspense. There are many tantalizing paths that Sheila could travel before eventually realizing what Deacon has done to her.
Her knowledge that Taylor has a new romantic interest should naturally lead to further questions being asked. What Sheila asks Deacon in coming days is also something fans will keep a close eye on.
The second shock of realizing Taylor’s betrayal will scramble Sheila’s brain. Whether she responds according to her historical pattern or, as was true of Deacon’s escape, an unexpected result takes place, makes this already solid storyline worth the continued close watch.
