Meghan Markle is reportedly choosing not to leave in fear of losing her royal titles, and is instead choosing to focus on her work.
No matter what the discussions are concerning her and her husband Prince Harry’s so-called faux royal tours, Meghan is determined to do the things that she wants to do without living in fear of Palace action.
This is coming after a royal biographer revealed that Harry is living in fear of his children losing their royal titles.
Meghan Markle Doesn’t Fear the Palace’s “Empty Threats”
Meghan Markle is reportedly out here living her best life, and there is nothing good ol’ Buckingham Palace can do about it.
According to an insider speaking to Mandatory, Meghan is not “remotely worried about the Palace taking action against her or Harry.”
The source continued, “She genuinely believes they’re not in a position to start another war with her.” The source then added, “Mainly because they’re far too busy handling all the scandals they’re caught up in.”
Meghan has built her brand around the Duchess of Sussex title, so wouldn’t it be a huge blow to her if it’s taken away? Well, per the source, the former actress, 44, is not losing sleep over it.
“The last thing Charles or William want is another messy battle with the Sussexes dominating the headlines.” According to this source, for Meghan Markle, “all this talk about stripping titles or shutting them down has never been anything more than an empty threat.”
It’s not that she isn’t afraid of losing her title, it’s that she doubts she’ll ever find herself in that position.
Meghan is also “not going to live in fear of something that’s likely never going to happen.” The person continued, “She knows there are plenty of people within the Firm that would love to see them punished.” The source also added, “And have actively been trying to make it happen and nothing has come of it.”
The insider shared, “Fact is, they’re far too cautious to take a drastic step that could backfire and create even more drama.”
Okay, so what this basically means, is that Prince William won’t be taking away the titles when he accedes the throne, like several royal experts believe. “That’s why she’s got no qualms about doing this faux-royal tour and anything else she might like. Meghan isn’t losing any sleep over what the Palace thinks,” the insider shared.
