The Easter weekend brought scenes of Prince William and his family attending church, which is positive, but Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor stole the headlines again. He didn’t appear at a church service and mainstream media mentioned that. But, it seems that his personal choices still cause friction in the palace. Read on to find out more.
Not Staying Out Of Sight
Andrew wasn’t expected to attend the service at St. George’s Chapel. And let’s get real, nobody expected that he would. But still, a headline is a headline, as the saying goes. Still, the former Duke of York poured fuel on the fire by walking his dogs.
Royal commentator Neil Sean discussed the Easter news on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Monday night. There, he noted that Andrew’s “petulant demands” and desire to do things his own way make problems for King Charles.
Oh, and Prince William, who probably seethes about it. After all, he and Princess Kate won a lot of hearts when they arrived at church with their three kids.
William Seems Angry
By now, enough headlines arrived for folks to know that Prince William just about lost all his patience with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, his wife, Sarah Ferguson, and apparently, even their daughters.
Certainly, it became apparent that he sees Eugenie and Beatrice as worthy of being put on the naughty list. After all, it seems that from the former prince, through to the ex-wife and their kids, more scandals bring instability to the future of the monarchy.
Eugenie & Beatrice On the Hook
Neil Sean pointed out that William feels “angered” by his cousins. Allegedly, he feels they should have been more forthcoming about what they knew regarding past scandals. From his point of view, their refusal to talk openly about their mom, their dad, and even their own connections with Epstein impacted the “good works” William hoped for this spring.
Per the royal family commentator, there’s an issue of trust. Sean pointed out one of the sisters remains close to Meghan Markle. According to unnamed sources, William doesn’t like that connection. In fact, he seems to dislike almost everything about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his family. Perhaps, he feels that if some of them stepped up and became more candid, it might help the problem of the scandals go away.
Certainly, it seems that because they allegedly avoid being open, the “wrath of William” means they get sidelined from major events.
Pressure For Beatrice?
Neil also talked about how apparently, the issues get in the way of the marriage between Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. According to the royal commentator, Edo never wanted the royal spotlight. Instead, he wanted to build his business and stay under the radar. But the “cat is out of the bag” now. Apparently, tabloids dig into his background and his family heritage.
If that’s true, then there might be some truth to the rumor that Beatrice reportedly finds it “very difficult to look to the future” right now. Between her father, her mom, and renewed public scrutiny, Easter might not have been a wonderful time for her. Allegedly, she worries about what investigators might turn over next.
