The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that fast thinking Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) saved herself from a gruesome pizza cutter death in the April 7 episode.
Wicked Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) was about to commit murder by carving Taylor into eight slices when the shrink invoked their grandchildren as a last resort guilt trip.
It worked, and Sheila put down the slicer and vowed she is a changed woman.
But the way Taylor saved her skin is not sitting well with some fans and we’re here to break down the controversy!
Sheila is Changed?
Of course Taylor would try to talk Sheila down off the ledge (for the second time in recent memory) with her life on the line.
But she did so by invoking the names of an innocent child, Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick), and his father, Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Hayes is Taylor and Sheila’s grandson and Finn is Sheila’s son. After Sheila tried to kill Finn and his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), she became a pariah who is forbidden to see Finn and Hayes.
Was Taylor Wrong?
In spite of this, Taylor offered to run interference for Sheila by telling Steffy to back off and let Sheila back into the fold.
Such a proposition, basically Taylor being Sheila’s advocate, was shocking to many fans and it sounded like she was trading her grandson for the right to have an affair with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Steffy and Finn Banned Sheila
Was Taylor’s “offer” repugnant and beneath her? Or did she lie in the moment to save her life? What is certain is that Taylor was terrified and inches from being slaughtered with a pizza slicer. Maybe.
What Happens Next on the LA Based Soap?
What happened next was stunning—Sheila put down the slicer and vowed that she is not the woman she used to be.
