The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) didn’t get what she wanted. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was pushed into a corner, and she anticipated holding sway but instead was rejected. Brooke isn’t used to that.
It’s been a while in soap time, but it’s still relatively fresh in viewers’ minds that Brooke again defeated Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). But that outcome was expected based on the many instances where Ridge returned to and remarried Brooke.
However, it was questionable in everyone’s mind if Ridge would simply bow to his wife’s request, which felt like a demand because it was. She ran with Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) novel idea that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) no longer deserved to run Forrester Creations with Ridge.
Hope Logan Spencer’s Self-Serving Idea Failed
It can be argued that Hope was trying to avoid as much conflict as possible. If her idea had succeeded, the one person who would have been negatively affected would have been Steffy.
Hope recognized that there would be consequences, and Brooke acknowledged that Steffy wouldn’t go quietly into the night. However, neither lady much cared about Steffy’s reaction.
If Brooke had become the new co-CEO at Forrester, then Hope would have likely seen her line resurrected. But that isn’t happening, and so her move to Logan appears to be the best option.
Zende Forrester Dominguez Is Upset
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) believes that he and Hope have been marginalized. The continued shelving of her line, with no restart date in sight, means that Zende’s tireless efforts this past year aren’t being realized.
He shared his frustration with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), which represented a strategic plot point. Why did Zende specifically need to tell Carter how he was feeling and do so at this point in the storyline?
Well, concurrent events had Hope expecting her mother to be named co-CEO. Brooke got the answer she didn’t expect and is exasperated. When that happens, she’s going to do something about it.
Zende’s pointed talk with Carter will allow Saint-Victor’s character to relay that information to Ridge, who appears to be heading toward mutiny.
Brooke Logan Forrester Joins Katie Logan Spencer?
These siblings love each other and want to make amends. One very soapy way that happens is if Brooke quits FC and goes to Logan.
Of course, Hope would follow, with that move telegraphed since Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) pitched the idea at his dad’s mansion earlier this spring. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) needs a designer, and Zende fits that bill.
Of course, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be ready to capitalize on adding this powerful trio. This potential outcome would override the prior coup, where Eric Forrester (John McCook) bolted the company he co-founded, sending the fashion world into a frenzy, while simultaneously creating havoc at FC.
