The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is a Sharpe no more. Viewers don’t yet know if she or her strayed husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), filed for divorce, but that is destined.
Deacon fell out of love with Sheila because he felt she hadn’t changed her stripes. Ironically, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) did believe that Sheila had evolved, to a certain degree.
The new love birds told the truth, not their truth. They love each other and want to build a new life together, which forcibly cuts Sheila out of Deacon’s heart.
And the truth is a foundational concept, whereas the soapy me, myself, and I truth that some reference in this soapy world is merely self-involvement projected through the screen to the viewers.
Deacon Sharpe Is Selfish And So Is Taylor Hayes
Deacon made one of the weaker arguments for a relationship break in recent memory. Thinking of himself, rather than his vows and what his wife was enduring, he concluded that Sheila should have told him about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) being alive.
Brown’s character was in an impossible position last summer when she learned that Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda) survived a shooting. Everyone assumed she was dead, and Sheila allowed Deacon to believe that as well because she feared he would pressure her to turn Luna into the authorities.
The above was hardly grounds for marital collapse. Viewers know that the writing staff used that plot technique to split Deacon and Sheila and reposition him with Taylor.
This Is A Believable New Pairing
On the other soapy hand, it is reasonable to believe that as Deacon wants upward social mobility now that his status has changed in Los Angeles, California. He’s making a name for himself in the restaurant world and is rubbing shoulders with people who have money, including Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Yet, Bill was willing to discuss investing in Il Giardino’s expansion, even considering that Sheila was Deacon’s wife at that point in time. So, basically, Deacon has disregarded that she was a significant part of his personal and professional success.
Sheila Carter Is Asked To Reconcile?
Sheila walked away from Deacon and told him that she wouldn’t interfere or block his coupling with Taylor. Viewers saw her outside of Deacon’s second-floor apartment on the Il Giardino property with a classic villainous look in her eyes and a wry smile, implying that treachery was ahead.
If she remains contained, Sheila could wait out an implosion. It would be a good storyline if Deacon and Taylor didn’t get along as both anticipated, and she broke from him.
Deacon could come crawling back to Sheila after a short stint with Taylor, possibly doing so later this year. That type of angle would be preferable to the well-worn ground the audience has seen many times before, which includes Sheila being the bad girl. Here’s hoping a fresh take is ahead in LA.
