‘Big Brother’ has promised a lot of big changes ahead of the 28th season of the show.
So far, we only have their promise to go on, as many details have stubbornly remained under wraps.
That is, if we don’t count the already teased detail that certain past house members will be returning. So now, what’s all this talk about a “time trip?”
‘Big Brother’ Unveils New Fun Theme Ahead of July Return
The clock is ticking down on the premiere of ‘Big Brother’s’ 28th season. The new season will kick off with two 90 minute episodes on July 9 and July 12.
As usual, Wednesdays will see the run of extended episodes. However, as the big launch day approaches, fans can’t help but seek out every crumb of news related to that quarters.
Well, the latest twist to catch fans’ attention is what the show has chosen to call the “Time Trip.”
Per a press release, the Big Brother 28 “Time Trip” twist will see housemates “compete across different eras, face returning legends, and navigate game-changing twists that rewrite the rules.”
But that’s not all the big thrills planned for the upcoming season, which is set to feature the milestone 1000th episode.
Host Chen Moonves has been out and about plugging the show, determined to get fans hyped up to extraordinary degrees.
Her promise? The new season will arrive with a number of concepts designed to satisfy “everyone, no matter their age.” As if we weren’t already amped up enough, she adds, “I promise you there is no way you are NOT tuning in to the 90-minute Sunday episode. It’s REALLY exciting.”
This season, Moonves is also looking forward to stretching her talents by joining in one or two house games. She’s even hoping to bring her teenage son along for the competitive ride.
“He is more athletic than me, smarter than me, and funnier than me.
As his mom, I would protect him like the biggest mama bear the world has ever seen…or would I? I mean, it is ultimately a game, and everyone is everyone else’s competition! It would be fun to see, that’s for sure. Even for me to face those questions,” the host gushed.
As for the execs, they’re promising full-scale show “disruption.”
