EJ Dimera Claimed To Want To Help
EJ gained Holly’s trust by claiming to want to help her stop Amy Choi (Shi Ni Neilson) from suing Holly for Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) death.
Of course, Sophia started social media posts about herself to get people to comment on them and Holly was just one of many. However, Amy had targeted Holly because she used to be Sophia’s friend.
EJ knew that Holly was poisoned by the water on Smith Island when he took the job as her lawyers.
This way EJ would be Holly’s confidant and would be able to find out more about Holly’s illness and what to do about it.
EJ even make sure that Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) deleted evidence for him and tipped off Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey) to the arsenic poisoning.
EJ Dimera Planted Drugs On Holly Jonas
When Holly was ready to be released from the hospital, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) brought her bag to the hospital for her to get dressed to go home.
While the bag was on the counter waiting to be delivered, EJ slipped Coriseal into the bag, making it look like Holly had been doing drugs all along even though she swore that was not the case.
EJ knew that no one would believe Holly and it certainly wouldn’t hurt her if she ended up for a short stint in rehab since she had a history of drug use.
EJ also believed this would stop people from nosing around on Smith Island, where Dimera had disposed of a tainted batch of drugs that had contaminated the Horton Cabin well.
Will Holly Jonas Forgive EJ Dimera?
EJ has done a great deal of damage to Holly and her reputation. Holly didn’t take the drugs that poisoned her but no one believed Holly when she told them this.
Instead, Holly ended up throwing out her boyfriend and her aunt because of EJ’s decision to plant drugs on her. Xander was the only person who believed Holly and offered another suggestion.
Holly has no proof that EJ planted that drugs, however, Holly also knows that she didn’t buy them.
