The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) marriage could at risk once again.
Victor and Nikki have just renewed their vows and gotten their marriage back on track. However, Nikki’s desire for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to be Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) sponsor could end their marriage again.
Victor Newman Visits His Son At Rehab
Victor will visit Nick at rehab and Nick is convinced it is time to come home. Nick feels he needs to get back to work and to get on with his life.
Nick tried to get Victor to allow him to work before he checked into rehab and he refused. Is Nick truly ready to put his addiction behind him and move on with his life?
Nick needs a sponsor. Of course, now that Nikki is off alcohol and back to her old self, Victor will likely want to make Nikki his sponsor and go from there. No one besides Nikki seems to be right in Victor’s eyes.
Nick’s parents are the people who want him to move on and get well. No one will fight for him like this mother.
Nikki Newman Has Other Plans For Nick Newman
Nikki knows that Jack has been addicted to drugs and he knows what to look out for when it comes to relapse. Nick has been on Fentanyl and that is because of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Nick knows Jack and he doesn’t have a problem with him. Nick also knows just how much Nikki trusts Jack and he could feel that this is the right call.
Nick needs a sponsor who will be there for him. Nick wants to get better, but his friends that he has made in rehab could be an issue.
Will Nick go against his father and choose to have Jack be his sponsor? Is Nick ready to get his life on track and get off the drugs once and for all? Does Nick still need the drugs to get him through?
Will Marie Kirkland Be An Issue?
Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) does not seem to be very committed to her own recovery. Marie could actually turn out to be a very bad influence on Nick. Will Nick have to cut ties with Marie before he can truly move on with his recovery? Is Marie just there to keep Nick from getting off the drugs and getting better himself?
Victor hates Jack, but if Jack can be there to keep Nick on track, who is Victor to stop him? Between Jack being Nick’s sponsor and the truth coming out about Kyle Abbot (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), can Victor and Nikki’s marriage survive? Will Victor and Nikki fall apart again?
