Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) deception could come back to bite her.
There’s a good chance Paulina’s decision to go against Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) wishes on the baby shower will lead to a major party blowup.
After Chanel overheard Paulina and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) talking about baby shower plans, she immediately tried to shut those plans down.
Chanel doesn’t want a big fuss, especially since Olivia DiMera has already arrived and has everything she needs.
However, Paulina thinks she knows best and intends on moving ahead with the baby shower despite Chanel’s disapproval.
Although Paulina made Chanel think she’d drop the idea, she still intends to throw this party and will inevitably catch Chanel off guard.
Of course, Paulina is gladly deceiving Chanel at this point since she still wants this bash to be a surprise.
By convincing Chanel that she’s calling it off, Days spoilers suggest Paulina will indeed deliver quite the party shocker.
Chanel will likely be annoyed with Paulina for gathering guests and putting her on the spot like this.
Since Chanel has been dealing with a lot lately, she’s really not in the mood to party and put on a show for everyone in attendance.
Although Chanel may scold Paulina privately, she’ll probably plaster on a smile and just try to get through this. Unfortunately, Days spoilers suggest this party just might set the stage for some explosive DOOL drama.
Considering all the buildup, it seems likely that this baby shower will erupt into chaos. Maybe Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) could come and point the finger at Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) for helping EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who set her up to look like a drug addict.
Then again, some other drama could explode instead, especially now that Paulina has made a bold move for reluctant Lani.
Paulina called the governor to ask for a favor and hopes to get Lani pardoned, but that plan could go wrong as well.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Paulina may face backlash from both daughters once the baby shower gets underway. Between the complaints and any other curveballs ahead, Chanel’s party could certainly be a memorable one.
This might even play a role in why Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) leave Salem with the kids.
All signs point to Johnny and Chanel moving the children to Italy in the not-too-distant future, so that’s important to keep in mind.
