The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) secret might not be settled anytime soon.
This has been confirmed by the head writer, Bradley Bell, while speaking to TV Insider. Just when we thought the truth was going to come out, this could end up being a super slow burn.
Bell Confirms It’s Supposed To Feel Like This
Bell opened by saying that, “I’m kind of keeping this story close to the vest,” speaking of Steffy and Carter’s night together.
He continued to explain, “they were two lonely hearts who felt like they were at the end of their ropes and heartbroken and a little tipsy and they had a night that was unexpected. And through all that, there will be a great rollout. They have a secret, and you know how long secrets last.”
No, we don’t know how long secrets last. Please tell us. ”Sometimes in soaps, they can go from days to months to years, and we’ll see how that rolls out in the months and years ahead,” Bell explained.
Months? Even Years?
Do we have the fortitude to listen about this one night for the next few years? I’m not sure I do.
If Bell is telling the truth about the pace, and not just trying to get us worked up, we may need to rethink our expectations. What we thought would come out soon may be mulled over for years, so buckle up.
This will either be a masterclass in storytelling and making every ounce of a storyline ooze out, or it will be an incredibly frustrating event.
We suppose it just comes down to how patient you are and how much of Steffy crying you’re willing to take before you finally snap.
Either way, it looks like Carter and Steffy are going to be a centerpiece in the show’s story for a while to come, so hopefully you like these characters because this isn’t going anywhere.
