The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), whose real last name is Cortes, is on the rebound. Her business prospects look great, and that might renew her confidence regarding her personal situation.
The plum position her only friend, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), offered and she accepted, as co-Chief Executive Officer of the combined former Newman Media and Abbott Communications, elevates Audra. While the state of Spectra-Charles Communications or whatever it’s termed is tenuous, Zuleyka’s character is in a higher career position than she’s ever been.
Audra’s romantic life has been uneven. She’s earned the devotion of many men, which isn’t surprising because of her acumen, confidence, and striking visual appeal. However, she’s never learned how to finish, and that’s created a series of broken relationships.
Sally Spectra Shares A Personal Trait
Sally has been involved with a variety of guys since viewers first saw her on sister show, The Bold and The Beautiful. In terms of Genoa City, Wisconsin, her first crush was Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Nothing happened there, and she moved on to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Grossman’s character remains the most serious Sally has gotten with a man. She was pregnant with his child, but sadly miscarried Ava. Adam was a true love, but he betrayed her trust when reconciling with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Closing business deals, at levels below the CEO spot, is something Sally has accomplished. Her proficiency is a reason why Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) asked Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to sign over Newman Media and Abbott Communications to him, and he gave it to Sally.
Borrowing a phrase from the world of business, Sally hasn’t been able to close the deal on relationships to date. That is something she and Audra share in common.
Audra Cortes Should Reclaim Her Name
A main reason why Audra has been unsettled is that she’s afraid Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will blow her out of the soapy water. Whether it’s Claire or circumstance, Audra should confront the past by burying it forever or somehow cleaning up what happened. If she doesn’t, jail time could happen.
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could be primed to take a fall if Audra cold decides to turn state’s evidence against him. A good lawyer, who could be provided through the means she’s gained as co-head of Spectra-Charles, could argue that Holden accidentally killed the man who wanted to attack Audra at The Shadow Room.
Lawyer logic could continue, with Audra having been coerced to help Holden bury that dead body under duress. There is a pathway for Audra to address this unresolved issue if she reports what she knows to Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) and works to clear herself. But that’s easier said than done.
Who Is More Likely, Noah Newman And Kyle Abbott?
Audra had an initially warm meeting with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) when they saw each other in the recent past. That cooled a bit after he recently questioned her about joining with Sally to head part of his grandfather’s stolen media company. For that reason and the strength of his connection with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), Noah probably isn’t reconciling with Audra anytime soon, but never say never.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is a different consideration. He’s still not back with Claire, as her attention remains mostly with Holden.
Audra has always been more strongly drawn to Kyle than he ever was to her. However, the opportunity for an impulse encounter is real, making Mealor’s character the more likely guy whom Audra could reconnect with at almost any time.
