The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was committed to moving on. But then RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) got in her ear, and the viewers could see what’s ahead.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) was telling the truth to Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace). He didn’t intend to betray her trust. What happened with Melissa was based on circumstances and his seeing Electra kiss RJ.
Electra loves Will, and even though she finds RJ to be attractive, she has no plans to swap boyfriends. But RJ wants Electra and knows that Melissa has doe eyes for Will, as the exited Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) said.
Ivy Forrester Wrong But Proven Right?
Ivy cares for Electra. Actually, she cared too much, as the audience was witness to.
Brewer’s character served as a plot technique to help introduce Electra. That long process played out, Ivy’s manipulations, though well-intended, were revealed, and now she’s probably headed back to Australia or to somewhere off-screen for an indefinite period.
Electra and Will are right to be upset because Ivy did work behind the scenes to change events in their lives. Yet, it feels like Ivy’s hope that Electra will face trouble if she remains with Will could eventually be borne out.
Why else go through all the motions to write Bullock’s character back into the show, when the then-Dylan was briefly seen last summer, and hire Nicoletti to become today’s RJ?
Why Was Melissa Dylan Hired At Forrester Creations?
RJ knows that Melissa likes Will and believes he shouldn’t be with Electra. She’s saying otherwise publicly because she needs to keep the job at Forrester Creations that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gave her, which is a way to push the plot.
Why would Steffy dismiss the concerns Electra and Ivy had about Melissa?
It’s reasonable to believe that Steffy wanted to help the woman who was tied and gagged by Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) last year. However, she didn’t need to specifically hire Melissa to work in the very social secretarial job that’s directly between FC’s executive suite and the design office.
Soap fans know that Melissa was purposely positioned between Electra and Will, as she is also placed in a prime position at FC. Maximize her interactions and the conflict scenarios that are sure to be generated.
Electra Forrester Capable Of Another Right Cross
Electra leveled Luna when slugging her last year in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion. Yamada’s smug character assumed every cliché imaginable about Electra, all of which were wrong, and she paid with a resulting sore jaw.
While Electra doesn’t need to duke it out with Melissa, she’ll need to keep her guard up. Will remains fond of her and must balance his need to rebuild full trust with his restored girlfriend.
At the same time, RJ will take any opportunity to persuade Electra to accept him. Plus, he’ll do whatever is needed to cause Will to make unforced relationship errors.
