Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) put an end to Ivy Forrester’s (Ashleigh Brewer) wild interference in Electra’s love life. Doing so allowed Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) to have most of his reputation restored.
However, RJ is intent on making Electra realize that Will is no saint. Plus, he recognizes that Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) cares about Morrow’s character, is working at Forrester Creations, and can be a valuable ally.
RJ Forrester Has A Mind Like His Mother
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has all that she wants because of her personality. Yes, she’s beautiful. But Brooke didn’t get to where she is in life because everything was handed to her.
She had to work to achieve personal gain. That opened doors and allowed her to achieve professional fame. Her aggressive pursuit of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), in particular, along with the earlier bond with his father, Eric Forrester (John McCook), established Brooke in Los Angeles, California.
RJ inherited his place in life through his parents, and he is grateful to both of them. His return to town includes wanting to establish a personal life that includes a woman to spend his life with. His preference is Electra.
Will Spencer Trying To Stabilize His Life
Will never deserved what Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) injected into his life. She was poison, and her influence set Will back sharply.
Through that horror, Will benefited from Electra standing by him. She was mature enough to see that Luna wasn’t someone Will ever wanted, which made the baby she conceived through deception not derail the sweet married couple who call themselves We.
So, he’s naturally relieved after Electra explained that Ivy was responsible for the miscommunication between them. Yet, that alone doesn’t solve all of their problems.
His bond with Melissa persists. Yes, she moved out of the apartment that is above his garage. But her feelings for him linger, as she admitted to RJ when he pushed to know what she really thought of Will.
That, along with her broken friendship with Electra, means that Melissa can revisit and probably expand her connection with Morrow’s character.
Electra Forrester’s Stress Effect Continues
Electra was hurt because Will appeared to choose Melissa. That was never his intention because he, like Electra, turned to someone else during a time of confusion.
But Electra has to ask herself if Will would do so again, whether it would be with Melissa or another woman. At the same time, she’s developed feelings for RJ, who is a viable alternative to Will and could be a better fit for her long-term goals.
