Does Diane Have This ‘Sick’ Obsession?
It almost seems as though Diane has quite the “obsession” with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and no, we don’t mean this in a good way at all.
That’s because she always has Nikki on her mind in one way or another, and that’s just because she’s competitive with her. It almost seems like she wants to be Nikki, if you know what we mean.
Clearly, many Y&R fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “Honestly I never loved Diane but she’s absolutely right. Why would you give ANY information to Nikki when you know she’s going to run and tell Victor and Victor will use it against your family? Victor can not be trusted and Diane is the only one smart enough to really say it.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “ I was so damn annoyed with her crying and carrying on over their friendship. Nikki has been nothing but nice to her and supportive of her and Jack, Just SHUT UP already, DIANE!!!”

And then there was this comment as well: “Diane is disgusting and the way that she acts about Nikki and I couldn’t be jacked cuz I tell her look I’m sick and tired of hearing you pissed moaning and whining about my friendship with Nikki if he can’t and if he can’t take it then you need to pack up and take a permanent hike somewhere else.”
