General Hospital (GH) fans have been watching a storyline play out between Scout Cain (Kayden Tokarski), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and their father, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)This week, Kayden and Cameron shared a hilarious skit about the tension.
The Amusing Skit
In the reel on Instagram on Tuesday, Cameron Mathison appeared first, then Asher walked over and stood in front of him, looking as good as gold. All that was missing was the halo.
Well, Drew’s actor shoved him out of the way. Next, Kayden popped up smiling and made a throat-slitting gesture. To make it funnier, Cameron and Asher played it to the hilt while a song played, “I am Drew, I am Danny, and we’re not the same person.”
Tension On The Show
More than likely, General Hospital fans got the idea pretty quickly that it was about the rising tension as Scout’s been involved in a romance with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Per Michael Fairman TV, “she’s caught in the middle… between her brother, Danny Morgan and her father, Drew Cain.“
The outlet also noted that it’s been an emotional time for her. Additionally, General Hospital Tea showed a reel that revealed how Danny Morgan and Rocco Falconeri filmed their punch-up at the Quartermaine boathouse.
Fans Are Team Drew?
In the comments on the latest skit, it seemed rather sweet to see some folks are Team Drew. That’s especially unusual, given how much his character is so often lambasted for being downright awful.
One General Hospital fan wrote, “DANNY!!! That kid is adorable, and Drew is being a bully… This is really cute though.”
Another one put up their hands for Drew, saying, “Drew, thanks for making GH interesting. Stay mean
.”
More support came for Cameron Mathison’s character with this comment: “I’m team Drew !!!!”
Kayden Engages With Her Fans
In the comments section, people also talked about Kayden. She’d said, “This was so fun to make!! You two nailed it!
.” So a fan commented, “I love your face at the end…priceless!!!”
Meanwhile, Cameron Mathison claimed that Kayden was the person behind the plot to do the skit. He wrote, “@kaydentokarski this was all your idea!!!!!”
Well, she didn’t deny it, and warned more could come along soon: “@cameronmathison no one could’ve pulled it off better! And I have a lot more ideas, so get ready!
”
It sounds like there might be more fun ahead, and knowing Kayden’s sense of humor, we’d keep an eye on her timeline.
They didn’t really give away any spoilers, but the responses do show how invested ABC fans have become in Scout’s storyline this year. Actually, she’s become super-popular with fans who appreciated it when she opened up about how grateful she is to be on the show.
