The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are finally preparing for their wedding and the moment that they finally say “I do” to each other.
But what if after everything that’s happened already this week, there’s someone standing there waiting for the chance to object to their union? A certain someone named Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Why Would Adam Object?
Adam and Sally have a long history together, and it’s never really been put to bed. There’s always been a certain spark between them that’s difficult to put into words.
Unfortunately, they lost a baby when they were together before, and understandably they had difficulty moving past that.
However, there’s still a deep love there that never really was resolved. Whenever they’re on screen together, it feels like the viewers missed something, like there’s more to the story and it just hasn’t been written yet.
This might be Adam’s last chance to stand up and say something before it’s too late. He’s never been the type of person to stay quiet when he wants something. He is a Newman, after all.
What Would Happen Next?
Surely, Billy would have something to say in that moment, and there may even be a scuffle, with people jumping in to keep it from escalating.
However, if Billy even senses for a moment that Sally would even consider being with Adam, he might be the type of person to tell Sally to go.
After all, Billy has plenty of other things going on that constantly call his attention, and why would you want to marry someone who doesn’t really want to be with you fully?
The worst part would be that this would happen in front of their families. The Abbotts would surely be stunned, but imagine being Sally’s family, who have flown here to be part of this moment only for her to run off with another guy?
