The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has always done everything he can to make things right between him and his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
He’s already taken accountability for letting his mother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), come back between them and never shies away from telling Steffy how perfect she is.
Of course, we all know the elephant in the room. So, the big question is, what the heck did Finn do?
Is Finn ‘Too Good’?
After Sheila crashed their romantic getaway in Monaco, Steffy flipped out. She gave Finn his ring back, started drinking, and headed back to town drunker than a skunk.
To make things even worse, she slept with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and ended up pregnant. One would think that Finn would be upset with Steffy, right?
Wrong. Instead, he’s begging for forgiveness and is on a mission to win her back. He’s gone to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for advice, and even told her that secrets are what destroy marriages. How funny.
Of course, Steffy can’t return the favor of being honest and admitting that she messed up. She’s perfect, remember? It feels like they tried to make Finn ‘too good’ of a guy, that no matter what, he’s going to apologize and beg forgiveness.
Even when the truth does finally come out, can you imagine Finn getting mad at Steffy? I can’t.
Why This Is Going To Hurt So Bad
The higher and longer that Finn has Steffy on this golden pedestal, the harder the fall is going to be.
When he finds out the truth, it won’t just be about the affair or her getting pregnant; it’ll be about her lying.
How long she lied for. What she lied about. And how, after everything that Finn has supposedly done, he’s always been able to admit when he was wrong.
Of course, there’s plenty of viewers who believe that Finn hasn’t done much wrong and that, in fact, Steffy is just a big whiner.
But to each their own. We’ve seen Finn beg and grovel a lot over the years, but surely this is going to be something he’ll stand up to, right? Could we finally see Finn lose his temper, for real?
