The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are getting ready for their wedding this month, and they’ve got a baby on the way.
Everyone’s excited; it’s a big deal, and Sally’s family is even coming to town. But we still have a big question. Is Billy ready for all this?
There Are Already Warning Signs
Nothing’s gone smoothly so far in this storyline. Sally has been worried about Billy’s lack of attention, and when he does try to be romantic for her, it gets ruined. Sally’s even got Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in her ear saying that she’s making a big mistake.
Not to mention, his sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) showing up at his door and wanting to know if everything was going okay.
There’s literally no one in Genoa City that believes in this couple. And many of us still want to see Sally end up with Adam anyways, so are we even upset that this whole thing might blow up? The only concern is the baby, and what would happen if Sally and Billy split. Of course, we’ve seen that answered a hundred times before.
Are there any children in town that have both their parents together? Well, kind of. But they’ve all been split up multiple times, and it definitely made their children’s lives hell.
There’s No Way Billy Has Changed
Billy has been married plenty of times before, and it’s never gone well. He gets distracted, bored, and is always looking for the next thing.
Even right now, he’s been bickering with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and somehow getting involved with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). It never seems to stop for ole’ Billy boy, and we don’t think that’s ever going to change.
If this is going to last, he needs to give Sally a partner who is all in and ready to take on the world with her.
Not a guy who’s constantly getting involved in stupid arguments and trying to prove something to everyone. Just exist. Just be with your to-be wife and raise your kids. Life isn’t hard to figure out.
